Terracotta with a clear glazed interior.

I created this vase with its cheerful Appliqué in 2023, for a solo show at Spa_ce Gallery. I was inspired by the ancient pottery I saw traveling in Greece. The design depicts a dream I had of happiness, with flowers , sunshine and rainbows. Birds are carrying sticks to build new nests and everything is just peachy on both sides of the garden wall, a metaphor for peace.
